The first website Barry ever created was for an Addison, Michigan based chiropractor at the tender age of 17. It was hand-drawn and coded in TextEdit on a Mac Quadra 700. The project put $250 in his wallet and yielded the promise of a bright new career in an industry that was being born. Fast forward 16 years and he is still providing the same service: creating effective communications in new places. Professionally, over the past 10 years he has worked with many great people and agencies in Toronto, London, Paris, and Tokyo producing award winning work for clients such as Cadillac, Dell, British Army, Virgin, Galaxy Chocolate, Mac's Convenience, Honda, Subaru, Baileys and Buick. Outside of advertising Barry is a proficient bicycle mechanic and avid rider, ex-ski patroller, certified fire fighter, snowboarder, guitar player and traveller.

My entire life is high tech, not just my work. I started developing hardware in the s, which brought me to software pretty quickly, as there were no programmers in those days. There were just a few hackers like me I learned my trade by doing, spending many nights and week-ends working in a dark room lit by the glow of a few monitors. What I have learned in those ventures is very much part of me now. One thing for sure is that those were pioneering days I enjoyed every minute of it... I consider my self somewhat lucky, I often was at the right place at the right time... I have meet many interesting entrepreneur types in my professional life who brought me along in their adventures. Naturally, in time, I took a few tech travelers in mine...We learned this business by doing. Success is a team sport, I know that now I now find the human side of technology development as captivating as the technologies themselves. Collectives are fascinating, making them work is so interesting. I still do web development...(JavaScript, SQL, PHP and some C) i still like to get down into code... I just can't stay away from it... Naturally, I am quite versed in financing RD tax credit side of the business Finance is part of what we do as entrepreneursI guess thats my executive side...besides, I like money...
