Known for making trends, rather than adhering to them and breaking rules, rather than following them, Amanda's approach to Interior Design is inspired by significant cultural influences like travel, fashion, literature, art and film. As the creative director of Amanda Hamilton Interior Design, her youthful, tenacious, fearless attitude and "Design like You Give a Damn" mantra has gained the attention of the local design community and clients in both the commercial and residential market. With her Bachelor's Degree in Applied Interior Design and an unrelenting commitment to continuing her professional development, Amanda received her status as a Licensed Interior Designer through the NCIDQ (National Council for Design Qualifications) and also became a LEED (Leadership in Energy Environmental Design) Accredited Professional. In addition, Amanda is the recent recipient of the Mount Royal University Horizon Award that recognizes the outstanding achievements of alumni early in their careers. When she's not knee deep in design, Amanda can be found stomping around the globe inappropriate shoes on the hunt for ridiculously delicious food, hidden gems or crazy adventures. When this fails to amuse, she can be found hunched over her laptop penning a memoir of absurdities for which she fears her family might disown her after reading.
