Hey Y'all! My name is Andrea and I was born and raised in Dallas, TX. I am the oldest of 5 kids and I am very close with my parents and my brothers and sisters. I am 31 and live with 2 roommates and my dog Maddie. My friends are the greatest and I love spending time with them. God is the #1 priority in my life and as I am on a path to a healthier me, that includes my spiritual life as well. I want to be disciplined not only physically but spiritually too. The battle with weight is something I have been struggling with since high school. The last few years, I had really been struggling with losing weight because of the amount of weight I needed to lose. I am definitely an emotional eater as well as just eating the wrong things.In 2011 I began researching the Lap-Band surgery. I felt like it was the safest form of bariatric surgery and the only option that was reversible. It seemed like it would really be the push I needed to help lose the weight.On 5/27/11 I had my surgery and have not once regretted it. I am on my way to a healthier, happier me.
