I am an entrepreneur with broad experience identifying new product opportunities, then building and operating successful technology companies around their customers. I love the adventure of the startup, engaging with founders and their teams, helping them see different and execute better. Highly intuitive, my greatest strength is helping teams discover the best path to growth. But I also codify my intuition into structured plans that are elegantly simple, yet powerful in their impact. I operate equally well from both left brain and right brain perspectives. My four wonderful daughters are the delight of my life, and theirs is one world I sure don't have figured out I first learned innovation from a veteran team of cold-war engineers at the F- fighter "skunk works", working on special technologies with NASA. After business school, I did my first startup as founder and CEO of a computer company, DayStar Digital, Inc. There, my amazing team built it into one of the top rated brands in the Apple publishing market. We developed new image processing tools with Kodak, and then with IBM, and under a clone license from Apple, the world's first multiprocessor desktop computers. Following these successes, I founded Mediatools Inc., the first of it's kind web site for uploading and playing home consumer videos. Today, I help build companies "grow better" through mentorship, strategy, marketing and custom engineering development.
