Music has been a large part of my life, it’s helped me grow as a person, get through some tough times in my life and always given me joy (it even helped pay my way through college). I’ve managed to sing in various venues over the past 21 years. Now I’m taking it to the next level and bringing what I enjoy to the World Wide Web. This new venture started after posting a couple of songs on a great music web site called Tune Toad (www.tunetoad.com). Immediately I began to get views averaging about 4 plays every hour. I purposely didn’t video tape myself singing, because I wanted people to listen to me and not watch a video. Before MTV, people simply listened to new artists on the radio. Sure you’d see them occasionally on TV, but looks didn’t matter much, as long as the sound was pleasing to the ears. Call it musical theatre of the mind.So far the response has been positive. I’m not expecting to impress everyone, because it just isn’t possible. As long as I’m having fun and a few people genuinely enjoy what I post, I’ll keep doing it.
