My name is Camille Rose Schmidt. In January of 2011, I graduated from the University of San Diego where I earned a BA in Communication Studies and minored in Political Science. While in college, I developed a fashion and lifestyle blog called "Dressed and Educated" (name taken from an Oscar Wilde quote) which has had over 46,000 readers in its first year and has received recognition from Conde Nast publications like Vogue and Allure. Upon graduation, I spent 5 months in New York City as an intern in the Public Relations sector of the Fashion Industry. While in Manhattan, I worked with top designers, salespeople, stylists, and modeling agencies. I also made presentations to editors of some of the nation’s leading magazines, newspapers and blogs. My mentorship from some of the industry’s most successful PR professionals has taught me valuable skills that I hope to draw upon in my pursuit of a career in Public Relations and Communications. Upon returning to the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as working as a stylist for Seams Boutique, I have been working as an Assistant Public Relations Consultant under the guidance of veteran and established PR & Marketing guru Celeste Niebergall. I have also recently taken a position with BLUEBLOOD living, as Vice President of Marketing.
