It has taken me almost 20 years to define myself as an Internet professional. I live to help businesses, organizations and entrepreneurs understand and evaluate what opportunities exist in today's digital landscape. This means I get to listen to web project ideas, provide feedback and sometimes contribute my own ideas to the project for potential development. I focus on helping my clients conceptualize how these ideas can be translated into sustainable, web properties that are scalable and lucrative. Which I do by leveraging online technology, social media, and business best practices as channels of production for our ideas. Furthermore, my contrasting career paths -- including various types of digital marketing to commercial property development and construction to procurement and international logistics management -- have been stepping stones for my present realization. Each step of my career is based on understanding that particular business' needs, identifying opportunities, and contributing to their fulfillment. The sum of these experiences, my education, and a desire to facilitate solutions is the impetus for learning front-end web standards like HTML, CSS, JQuery, and back-end development tools like Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP; otherwise known as a LAMP-stack. My curriculum has evolved to include the WordPress platform, its ecosystem, and all the functionality it gives its adopters. I love that WordPress can do so much for so many with such minimum overhead and because of this I am now a WordPress Evangelist! Moreover, my constant desire to learn more about the Internet drives me and gives me the satisfaction I seek from my career, which I look forward sharing with you.
