EDUCATION Dr. Ross received her bachelor’s degree from Purdue University with a major in Modern Foreign Languages. She then attended the University of Michigan Medical School and completed an internship in Pediatrics at Oakland California at Kaiser Permanente. She did her residency and is Board Certified in Preventive Medicine, completing the residency program at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Dr. Ross has a Master’s in Public Health from Loma Linda in International Health. Dr. Ross completed the two-year fellowship in Dr. Andrew Weil’s Program in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. CAREER EXPERIENCE Dr. Ross began her medical career working in emergency medicine and later went into primary care, with a focus on the treatment of women. She developed three women’s medicine centers in San Diego, California where she offered the best of conventional and alternative medicine for general medicine and office gynecology. During this time, she was also the Medical Director for the Rader Institute’s inpatient eating disorder program and ran an outpatient program for the treatment of obesity. Most recently, Dr. Ross served as the Chief of the eating disorders program at the renowned inpatient treatment center, Sierra Tucson, where she developed a unique integrative medicine approach to treating patients with eating disorders, alcohol and drug dependence and mood disorders. Currently, Dr. Ross is in private practice in Denver, Colorado where she specializes in the treatment of eating disorders, obesity, mood disorders and addictions using integrative medicine. As well, she speaks nationally on these subjects. She is also affiliated with The Ranch, a treatment center near Nashville, Tennessee where she is the consultant for the eating disorders extended care program which treats patients with eating disorders and drug and alcohol dependence.
