I attended Southwest Missouri State University (now Missouri State University) in Springfield from until , and again from to , graduating with Bachelor's degrees in Mass Media and Computer Information Systems. Beyond my education, I have spent years in positions that required me to become more comfortable talking to people, and working as part of a teamfrom my part-time job as a K-Mart cashier during my school years, to my work in telephone customer service. As the sole technical support for a web hosting service, I learned a lot about responsibility. As a software tester and technical writer for a logistics firm, I honed my writing skills. Apart from my professional positions, I have also been a writer for the popular e-book blog TeleRead.org. Also, I ran my own podcasts Space Station Liberty, devoted to the fandom of the s television show Robotech and The Biblio File, about the written word. I have interviewed a number of fascinating people, including the actress and singer Chase Masterson, and writers such as Peter S. Beagle and Mercedes Lackey. I currently live in downtown Indianapolis and am actively seeking a position that makes the best use of my talents and interests.
