After spending 18 years growing up outside of Philadelphia, I went to the University of Pittsburgh where I studied German and Linguistics. Somehow as an undergrad I got a job teaching other undergrads Swedish. I then decided to move to Germany (Kiel, North of Hamburg), where I studied Scandinavian Studies (Icelandic, Swedish and Danish) and taught English. After a year of that, I moved to NYC where I'm now working as a proofreader for a translation firm. It's kind of fun sometimes. I work too much but I try to ballance that out by spending a lot of time riding my bike in Prospect Park. I also play guitar and write songs occasionally.read more ...read less ...
