I had the unique experience of working for my alma mater when I graduated with my Bachelors degree. Working as an assistant director of admissions I developed my love for education, public speaking, public relations, marketing and traveling. In my position as Communication Coordinator I was able to utilize my skills I developed as a journalist to communicate with the media, develop story ideas and conduct research for stories. I also had the opportunity to create advertising campaigns, research studies and pay-per-click campaigns. My goal is to work as a public relations director for a zoo, or university. I chose to get a degree in Integrated Marketing Communications and Internet Marketing so that I can tackle multiple layers of projects as opposed to just one. I'm kind of a "Jackie" of all trades!
