As a Research Analyst with Wood Mackenzie I am responsible for providing valuation estimates and analysis on multiple companies and their assets throughout the onshore continental United States. I previously served as a Performance Analyst supporting the Resource function (subsurface). The role includes responsibility for reporting and analysis of management information as well as Finance support for all Resource projects (mm) including seismic, heavy oil and subsurface studies. Before that, I was responsible for the State of Alaska's annual oil production forecast. The role included supporting an engineering contractor in meetings with technical personnel from oil companies throughout Alaska and forecasting production from Cook Inlet wells under supervision of the engineering consultant. Additionally, I have been involved from either a legislative or technical perspective in virtually all major changes to Alaska's oil and gas laws in the last years (PPT, ACES and AGIA among others). Previous roles included representing the Division of Oil and Gas as a member of the "Public Outreach Team" for Alaska's multi-billion dollar oil and gas tax change as well as for the Alaska Gasline Inducement Act (AGIA). As a member of the Public Outreach Team I traveled with a small team of senior state officials to various communities across Alaska to present the administration position and answer questions from community leaders, media and the public. In addition to my role in the public outreach process for both the gas pipeline proposal (AGIA) and the oil and gas tax changes (ACES), I assisted in the committee process and passage of the legislation for both projects.read more ...read less ...
