David T. Blair (Chief Executive Officer and Director since 1999) initially joined a predecessor of HealthExtras in 1997 as Chief Financial Officer. From 1995 to 1997, Mr. Blair was the Finance Manager of United Payors & United Providers. At United Payors & United Providers, Mr. Blair focused on its initial public offering and several strategic acquisitions. In 1994, Mr. Blair co-founded the Continued Health Care Benefit Program, which administers health care benefits to individuals leaving the United States Armed Forces.
