David received his Master's in Public History from Middle Tennessee State University and entered the museum field in as an independent consultant for museums, historic sites, government agencies, and preservation organizations. A few of his recent projects include historian, interpretive planner, and exhibit designer for Fort Negley Visitor's Center and Historical Park, master planning for the Matt Gardner Homestead Museum, and historian and branding consultant for the Tennessee River Trails National Scenic Byway Corridor Management Plan. David was also a member of the Sergeant York Project's first expedition to the Argonne-Meuse battlefields in eastern France in . He is producing a documentary on the findings of the expedition and worked with the First Division Museum at Cantigny on an exhibit about the American experience in World War One that opened in Fleville, FR in October . His latest film project, Many FacesOne Voice, has been nominated for Best Feature Documentary at the Nashville Film Festival.
