David joined Cranson Capital as an Analyst in February and is responsible for financial analysis, due diligence and preparing documentation. Prior to joining Cranson Capital, David worked as a Private Equity Analyst for a search fund headquartered in Toronto. In his previous role, he was responsible for in-depth industry and company analyses, as well as proprietary deal sourcing. Davids past experience also includes working at a boutique investment bank focused on raising capital for private enterprises in the Canadian lower-middle market. In his spare time, David enjoys playing soccer and giving back to the community. David has been playing competitive soccer since the age of eight and currently enjoys playing in various leagues across Toronto. David has also recently participated in the Sporting Life K Run for Kids with Canada and was previously a mentor with Youth Assisting Youths at-risk youth program. David received his BBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University, specializing in Finance and Applied Mathematics.
