Deepak focuses on investments in new and existing technology businesses, specifically clean energy. Prior to joining GC, Deepak worked at Sun Microsystems and was an intern at the Yale Investments Office. At Sun, he worked with Sun’s Chief Architect in designing some of the world’s fastest supercomputers, led global operations for the High Performance Computing practice and headed the Asia-Pacific High Performance Computing team. He was also responsible for many green computing business development initiatives in this space. At the Yale Investments Office he valued complex clean energy financial instruments with multiple risk factors. As a student at Yale, Deepak played a key role in starting the first university-wide energy club, the YCEI Student Congress.
