I capture words for a living. Sometimes they escape, and I have to chase them down, bludgeon them into submission, and drag them to back complete their sentence. I received my MFA from University of Southern Maine--lovingly known as Stonecoast, a phenomenal writing program and supportive, quirky community. I love to read and write young adult novels steeped in adventure, muddled relationships, and mired with unpredictable, magical elements.
