I have over eighteen years of pastoral experience and over sixteen years of missions experience. My missions experience included many academic responsibilities including training church planters and I served in the position of Academic Dean of a Bible School in Indonesia. This school had an enrollment of over 1,000 students where I also served as a teacher and developed eighteen courses to be taught by national teachers. I recently finished my Master’s of Divinity degree at Regent University and during that time I served as a non-resident missionary with “Accelerating International Missions Strategies.” I function very well as a pastor-teacher and clearly see myself in that role within the Body of Christ. My missions experience on the field in Southeast Asia was not only a training role, but I also functioned in an informal pastoral role with other field missionaries and a local church. My experience in Thailand gave me the opportunity to serve as a mentor to the leadership of a Thai congregation and train them as effective ministers in a local congregation. Needless to say, I see myself as an equipping pastor focusing on making disciples and preparing God’s people to do the same. I have always either been in leadership and preparing leaders or I have been part of the start up if several organizations. My goal is to continue to see the Church mobilized to go to the least reached areas of the world, train leaders, and assist in the establishing of simple/house churches here in the USA.
