As a member of the Chairmanâ€™s Council with one of todayâ€™s visionary financial planning companies, World Financial Group (WFG), Ed Mylett embodies the concept of leadership. Prior to joining WFG in 1992, Mr. Mylett exhibited his ambition to lead in a number of other arenas, including athletics. While enrolled at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, Mr. Mylett excelled as a Division I baseball player, earning recognition as an All-American three times. Ed Mylett also spent several years providing counseling to underprivileged young men in his community. Following an injury that ended his potential to become a Major League Baseball player, Ed Mylettâ€™s life arrived at a turning point. It was then that he realized his passion to become someone whom everyone recognized as successful and to do so on his own terms. When Mr. Mylett entered into the financial industry, he put forth double the effort required in order to reap later benefits. Soon, Mr. Mylett became one of the youngest CEO Marketing Directors in WFG history. Mr. Mylett later filled the high-ranking role of Senior Executive Vice Chairman before being promoted to the Chairmanâ€™s Council. By the time Mr. Mylett turned 30 years old, he had gained millionaire status. This achievement garnered him induction into WFGâ€™s Millionaire Hall of Fame. Currently holding the position of Director of Field Leadership at WFG, Ed Mylett mentors and inspires WFG leaders of the future and works to increase production and recruitment. Ed Mylett holds active membership in the Loving Savior of the Hills church in Chino Hills, California. An enthusiastic golfer, Mr. Mylett schedules a round into his daily routine and generously supports the Southern California Golf Association.
