I thoroughly enjoy working with, designing, and building bleeding-edge web products that enable people to consume content and communicate with each other in new and meaningful ways. A problem solver at heart, I'm happiest solving difficult problems in creative fashions, especially within the fields of content management, search, social media, and online advertising. I hate being micromanaged, and I hate micromanaging. I prefer to be part of a team where each member is trusted to do their part once given direction. Even so, there is no such thing as a dumb question. Requesting and participating in feedback should always be encouraged. I'm opinionated, and given the opportunity, I will passionately express and discuss my opinions with an open mind, yet fall in line afterwards without quarrel. I prefer my team members to do the same, preferably with their own opinions. I am most effective directly on the floor, actively leading teams through the product development process. I hate meetings, as I rarely find them productive. I prefer agile development over waterfall, simple solutions over complex, open source over proprietary, managed platforms over managing hardware.
