Gary was born in Northern California - saw his first lap steel at 5, finally began playing music when he was 9. Piano led to guitar (at 13) which in turn led to garage bands and working groups through high school. The fascination with music never wore out and he is still writing, recording and playing original music today. Gary is a devoted bibliophile with over 5,000 titles in his own private library. His topics of interest are archaeology, ancient history, Biblical analysis and theology, as well as the occasional back country trek. Gary occasionally performs music live, both solo and with his band, from Tracy, California. Today, the musical emphasis is songwriting and recording - and a first CD will be released by the end of this summer of 2007.
