I am currently working for Univita as an RN assessor for their long term care division. I am also currently working as an independent registered nurse tutor. My goal is to help nursing students pass the NCLEX and to be excellent nurses. I have been a Registered Nurse instructor and have thought classes in Med-Surge, Pediatrics, Nursing math calculations,Pathology, LPN classes, Clinical lab instructor and in house nursing tutor. I have over years experience as a RN in hospital med-surge floors, Case manager, Hospice RN, Consultant in home health, OR supervisor and as a Director of nursing. I teach in two ways. I teach what you need to know on the nursing floor and what I have seen on the NCLEX test bank practice questions. I know what it takes to pass the NCLEX and to be a great nurse. I love to teach and pass on my knowledge. I am adjusting to the changes in the new NCLEX exam. I have noticed a sharp decline in students getting the choose all that apply incorrect from my test questions. I have also noticed the low passing rate of the schools in Florida with some on probation. Please feel free to call me with any questions and I take pleasure in helping my fellow future nurses. My other past work experience includes working years in the airline industry mainly for Eastern Airlines. I worked years as a licensed massage therapist.
