I am a reporter staff writer for the Dunkirk Observer, which reaches , readers daily in print online. My main beat is the village of Fredonia, NY, which has a population of about , people. I graduated college in May with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (cum laude) from the University of Rochester. I was a business intern at the city of Rochester's newspaper, the Democrat Chronicle, during my final semester at college. I also volunteered during that time as a staff writer for my college's newspaper, the Campus Times. I worked as a Field Intern at the national grassroots organization No Labels in Washington, D.C., which is committed to ending partisan gridlock in Congress. I coordinated managed multiple master lists of constituents using Microsoft Excel during my time there. I attended the professional development seminar The Washington Center in my Fall college semester, which is also when I worked at No Labels. I am hard-working devoted to political news, especially at the local level, fixing congressional gridlock. read more ...
