James T. Berger

James T. Berger, Founder Principal of Market Strategies, focuses on strategic marketing planning and the development and implementation of marketing plans. In addition, he works closely with intellectual property attorneys across the nation as a consulting and testifying expert in trademark infringement litigation and other intellectual property issues. Berger is also a freelance business writer who contributes business- and marketing-oriented articles to a variety of on-line and off-line publications. He is also the Managing Editor of The Wiglaf Journal, a monthly on-line strategic marketing publication. As a marketing communications and survey expert, Berger has written a number of articles on trademark surveys as well as brand and trademark valuation. (These articles are available upon request.) In November, , Oxford University Press published Trademark Surveys A Litigator's Guide, by Berger and R. Mark Halligan, partner with the Nixon Peabody law firm. Berger also has a passion for teaching. He is currently a faculty member at Roosevelt Universitys Walter E. Heller College of Business Administration where he teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in Marketing Management, Marketing in Theory and Practice, International Marketing, Marketing Planning and Strategy, Selling and Sales Management, Retail Management and Consumer Buyer Behavior. He has also taught extensively at Northwestern University, DePaul University, the University of Illinois at Chicago and the Lake Forest Graduate School of Business.
