James is a diversified professional with a background in Smart Manufacturing, Lean implementation, and Process Improvement management. He is a well experienced change professional, who had great exposure to the working knowledge of Lean implementation on a large scale environment. As a member of a cross-functional TPM team, several lean tool implementation activities became everyday procedures process improvement methods, TQM, Lean Manufacturing, root cause analysis meetings, and culture changing training in the classroom and on the shop floor. In , James led a team of Lean Six Sigma Black Belts to complete a project, which focused on Die Changeover Improvements for Quality Metalcraft. This experience involved shop floor Kaisen events to extract the knowledge from the current process experts. A layer swim-lane process map was created to identify conditions that needed attention to create more VA activity in the process and drive toward the industry benchmark Changeover Time or SMED. He had developed a SOP that integrated the approved process improvement ideas into the new process, while offering more flexibility to maximize the process efficiency in conditions of "rush orders" or "absenteeism". James is currently a Program Manager of the GAP FLUSH system, and is responsible of ALL program deliverables including design, controls, planning, scheduling, financial, and executing shop floor management Buyoffs to in-plant-ProTAG buyoffs. A true expert in managing multiple projects and demonstrating forward momentum to elevate the level of customer satisfaction by meeting ALL customer target requests. James is currently working on multiple CI projects while continuously managing changes in the Gap Flush vehicle programs as the programmed body styles change.
