Mr. Greer is Chairman of the Board of Greer Capital Corporation as well as Chairman of two companies involved in real estate and commercial real estate development and management. From 1985 to 2001, Mr. Greer served as Chairman of the Board of Shelton W. Greer Co., Inc., which engineers, manufactures, fabricates and installs building specialty products, and as Chairman of the Board of Vermiculite Products, Inc. Mr. Greer served as a director of Service Corporation International, a publicly held company that owns and operates funeral homes and related businesses, for 27 years, retiring from that position in 2005.
