Moved to PDX in April 2010 from Michigan… My return to the west coast after being back in the midwest for about 7 years. itch itch… Until my profile and photostream builds, look at what I chose as favorites… You'll see what I like… As for my own stream… it's still just for play and experimenting… seeing what feels right for me. It's been an interesting journey over the last year+ that I've been hanging out on Flickr. It seems like photography has always been a part of my life. My family photo roots go back to my grandfather, so I guess I'm still guided by some photo spirits. Cameras were just always around while I was growing up… just taken for granted. The days of Life and Look Magazines were the first that I remember being conscious of the power of pictures. With college and art school came my first SLR and access to pretty much everything in the photographic world. My design career path always kept me connected to photography to some extent… from shooting to directing, with a little photo burnout mixed in along the way. Computer graphics, animation, and video transitioned me into the digital world. My still photography had regressed to shooting snapshots, so digital point and shoot cameras or video hybrids served my needs. I started shooting with a DSLR in 2010, but I seem to be addicted to my iPhone… Let's just leave it at being a "born again photographer." "STARE, it is the way to educate your eyes, and more.
