James J. Kim, 70, has served as our Chief Executive Officer and Chairman since September 1997. Mr. Kim founded our predecessor, Amkor Electronics, Inc., in 1968 and served as its Chairman from 1970 to April 1998. Mr. Kim is a director of GameStop Corp., a leading global video game and entertainment software retailer. Mr. James J. Kim is the father of John T. Kim, a member of our Board.
