His experience includes developing and implementing internal audit functionality and assistance with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for large, middle market and small companies. He has also developed audit functionality and methodology surrounding construction projects, enterprise risk assessments, external quality assessments and information technology. Additionally, Jeff has helped companies establish fraud programs and has lead many fraud investigations. Jeff is also the President of MC Solutions, a boutique consulting firm which specializes in internal audit solutions from startup to co-sourcing, SOX 404 compliance, external quality assessments, fraud investigations and forensic accounting, continuous controls monitoring including data analytics, enterprise risk assessments, construction audits, SAS 70 (SSAE 16) and information technology support. Prior to MC Solutions, Jeff was a Partner-in-Charge with a local CPA firm and a Director with an international consulting firm for several years and led one of its industry groups in Southern California. He also established and managed internal audit departments for a billion dollar steel distributor and a billion dollar fitness chain. Jeff started his career at KPMG. He is also actively involved with the Institute of Internal Auditors having served as the President of the San Diego chapter for two years, was a Board member for five years and is currently the Chief Audit Executive Roundtable Co-Chair.
