I take photographs when the shapes, textures, light, proportions, colours, shadows, moods, mysteries, and the unexplainable attract my eye and my camera. I try to photograph for a reason--some sort emotional attachment with what I see--if only for a fleeting moment. I am often drawn to the simple things, that when lit by beautiful light, transcend the ordinary. As an eager participant in the Toronto Photo Walks group, I have taken more photographs at this stage in my life than ever before.
