I am a walking dichotomy. I may cuss like a sailor, but want to be treated like a lady. My friends say I should have dated in the 1950's instead of today (not that I completely agree with that statement). Sometimes I come off as snobby when I first meet people but I'm really not. I can just get a little uncomfortable around new people at times. If you ever talk to me you'll notice that I do have a large vocabulary. It's just the way I talk. Years of reading will do that to you. I read lots of books, everything from classics like The Good Earth to Harry Potter. Am a huge fan of science fiction and think that "Firefly should never have been cancelled (Joss Whedon is a genius). I actually own comic books. My taste in music is questionable I've been told. Not much into live music unless it's Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers. I like to go camping and own most of my own equipment. I don't really believe in traditional religions. More of an agnostic (one who believes in a higher power but not necessarily a God). Don't get me wrong, I am spiritual but it's not what most people would consider religious. Believe in things like Reiki. I enjoy theater (it was my major in college) although I haven't seen much since moving to AZ. I am very sarcastic and funny (in my own humble opinion). read more ...
