I am a Halifax-based realist painter. My work ranges in subject matter from figurative to landscape, but the underlying theme of my practice is the act of capturing the bright, brief, so-often-overlooked moments which make up our lives to reveal the sublime in the ordinary. In doing so, I hope to engage the viewer in a contemplation of the true identity of the objects and beings we encounter in our everyday lives.
