Hello. I am a published writer. My first book, THE CURIOUS MISADVENTURES OF FELTUS OVALTON, is a middle grade fantasy about a cynical boy, his great-aunt and a very large sentient toad. I am also cynical and semi-sentient. And I enjoy whipped cream and scones almost as much as Great Aunt Eunida does.My post-apocalyptic YA, ASHES, ASHES, will be coming out on Scholastic in Summer 2011. Set in post-apocalyptic New York City in the near future it chronicles the thrilling adventures of a teen girl and her struggle to survive in a strange new world.I just completed work on a YA set in 1980's punk rock California (an era I myself lived through). That book is called FIERCE and I am very proud of it.I like to blog. I like to blog about writing, my kids and lots of strenuous exercise.
