John D. Geary, age 80, President and Chief Executive Officer (Retired) of Midland Enterprises, Inc. Mr. Geary served as President and Chief Executive Officer, and as a Director, of Midland Enterprises, Inc., an inland marine transportation company, comprised of barge lines, shipyards and cargo loading terminals, from 1974 to 1988. He previously served for 20 years on the Board of Directors of Fifth Third Bank, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
