After graduating from Pomona College and bumming around LA, SF, and various parts of Europe, I moved to San Diego to pursue graduate studies in political science. I didn't finish my PhD at UCSD, but I did meet the woman of my dreams, my wife Roxanne. In , Warwick's in La Jolla hired me as a bookseller.
