Currently, I am employed at Murphy OBrien Public Relations where I coordinate marketing initiatives and visual content creation for the agency and its portfolio of luxury travel, real estate and lifestyle clients. I manage collateral for new business outreach, identify industry opportunities for awards and events, communicate agency news to trade publications and promote best practices for internal branding efforts. Prior to my transition into marketing at Murphy OBrien, I provided operational support for the travel collection and worked on accounts for several clients. As a member of the Hilton Hotels Resorts account team, I monitored social media, drove positive engagement with influencers and brand advocates, assisted with content creation and distributed social media activity daily recaps to the client and its other agencies. I attended client meetings and brainstorms and practiced account maintenance compiling media exposure summaries, media lists and press trip materials among other duties. Additional responsibilities included social media strategy and execution for Hirsch Bedner Associates Design Consultants and branding efforts for TruAmerica Multifamily. I also serve on the Murphy O'Brien Social Media Committee. Previously, I lived in France where I attended Paris Business College and earned a bachelor's degree in marketing after transferring from San Diego State University. In Paris, I managed marketing and in-house PR for Shourouk, an entrepreneurial fashion designer of haute couture jewelry and accessories. I controlled social media strategy, wrote press releases and maintained media relations with journalists at high-profile European publications.
