Jos Martinez is a writer for Guidespark, a Menlo Park-based benefits communication startup. Previously, he worked as a multimedia reporter for KPCC, a Los Angeles-based NPR affiliate, where he covered community health in South Central LA. There, he wrote about the best places to find peace and quiet in the 'hood, rheumatoid arthritis, a -year-old blues phenom, and the widespread shortage of primary care doctors, among other topics. In , Martinez was named National Collegiate Journalist of the Year by the Society of College Journalists.
