Raised in Northern Alabama, Karen Hall learned to love reading and writing at an early age. Having discovered Shakespeare and Masterpiece Theatre at the age of twelve she instantly became a fan of all things British. She is a charter member of Smoky Mountain romance Writers and has won numerous awards for her late-Victorian romances. Trained as a clinical social worker she makes her home in East Tennessee with the lads Holmes and Watson.
