I received my Master's of Science at Walden University in the Psychology Terrorism and Security program in November, . Coursework included the psychology involved in terrorist attacks including the motives behind attacks and the psychological effects of the attacks on survivors the impact of terrorism and the countermeasures required to combat terrorist threats the systemic approaches to the issues of public safety, emergency preparedness, and disastertrauma management. Other topics researched include Nuclear Terrorism, IEDs, and Cyberterrorism. I did my thesis on Radicalization of Non-Islamic Extremists. Specialties Research has focused on the effects of terrorist acts on first responders and survivors of an event, crisis management and psychological first aid, radicalization of members in extreme groups, and nuclear terrorism. read more ...
