Kevin was raised in Bedford, Texas, and moved to Kansas in . A couple of years after moving to Kansas he had an epiphany. Clearly, this was naive, yet it led Kevin and his wife to move to Virginia where he attended law school at Regent University. After graduating law school, cum laude, in , Kevin worked at a corporate law firm, then prosecuted for the Sedgwick County DA's Office, and finally opened his own law practice where he has been evangelizing clients in his law practice ever since. In his spare time he writes Christian fiction and nonfiction, and pulls many of his book ideas from real cases he's read about on various legal news services.
