This flickerized vocabulary makes it seem like I've been abducted by aliens (which i suppose is one way to describe long term relationships :). However alien abduction is much more flashy. I am not a photographer just wanted a good place to store photos of loved ones, etc. However - as I've explored flickr - I've been bowled over with delight at all the amazing work and talent I can find and enjoy. It's a virtual photo museum. Living in the shadows of the Western NC foothills - we do some wonderful culture, but sadly there is no MOMA here. I work in the nonprofit realm and co-habitate with a dear husband, two 60 lb mutts, a crazy white foxish puppy, an annoyed cat, and an oblivious blue tongued skink. I'm a bit of a white girl wrapped in a brown girl's packaging; adopted from Bogota Colombia when I was weeks old. Please let me know if you have any photos of Bogota or Colombia - I'd love to see them.
