To date I have had experience in a range of areas & industries. From aviation & running the administrative side of a business to construction & the music industry. While this has required multidisciplinary expertise, it also means being able to apply a polyvalent & transversal tact, thereby utilizing knowledge gained & then applied to various current areas. One constant throughout all has been the managerial role of all these positions. My approach to commit to taking both an active stance as a manager, therefore being able to be hands-on, yet also able to delegate, while taking responsibility for decisions made regarding the myriad of different challenges unique to each industry. Professional Profile & Skills. 2006 - 2008: As Acting General Contractor through study & utilizing my Management skills including strong leadership, people management & motivation skills, I commenced the implementation & successful completion of the build process of a family house. This included obtaining permits, ensuring schedules were organized & met, hiring & firing of sub-contractors, contracts signed, insurance & workers compensation documents were in order, lien waivers completed, budgets adhered to & county inspections passed. Cert.of Occupancy was received 9.5 months after breaking ground. 2000 - 2009: Emigrated from the UK to the USA. Became competent in handling daily office work including Sales Tax, Internet Sales & the computer skills: Quickbooks, MS Office, MS Powerpoint. 1992 - 2000 CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) qualified Air Traffic Control Officer, which utilizes extensive operational management & control. The qualities include management of staff, management of constant changing flexible situations. Being able to make considered, yet quick, safe, logical, decisions which are fluid enough to effect change in a constant evolutionary environment.
