Im Lorianne DiSabato writer, college instructor, dog-walker, shutter-snapper, meditator, and asker of the Great Questions. I'm an English instructor at Keene State College, and I also teach online writing and literature courses through Southern New Hampshire University. In the spring of , I received my doctorate in English literature from Northeastern University, where I completed a PhD dissertation on spirituality of place in th and th century American nature writing. In addition to my work as a college instructor, I'm also a Senior Dharma Teacher in the Kwan Um School of Zen. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, birding, and amateur botanical studies. A long-time journal-keeper, I also like to write short essays, including my blog, Hoarded Ordinaries , which features my writing and photography.
