I was one of the original team members  of K-Tel International. We started what is now know as “mass marketing†through television advertising. I proceeded to open offices, hire local employees and set up distribution throughout Europe. When I  left K-Tel and Europe for first time the company was doing $100m per year. On returning to America I  founded an advertising agency that specialized in producing catalogues and annual reports for some of the largest sporting goods manufactures in US. The company did everything from photographing the products in their own studios to printing and binding and distribution of all collateral materials for the clients. On returning to Europe I  started a new record Label for a Canadian Parent company. Within two years had captured three percent of the full price record market. (Volume in e xcess of $50m). With this success I was approached  to do the same thing for BMG Bertelsmann. I started a label for them that went on to become a $60m dollar company .read more ...read less ...
