As an interactive creative director, transmedia storyteller, and blended reality game designer, Matthew summons playful, objectives-driven experiences for Fortune companies, nationally recognized non-profits, and scrappy startups. Since co-founding Natron Baxter Applied Gaming, he now plasters "hard-working games for social good" across mobile, web, and "real world" platforms at the New York Public Library, American Heart Association, World Bank, GE, and other legitimate-sounding organizations. In past lives, Matthew developed a comprehensive visual forecast of consumer-grade augmented reality technologies, as well as a guerrilla "pre-enactment" of the aftermath of an avian flu pandemic in downtown Honolulu. (Of the latter, media called it "a movie set of sorts, approaching the level of production design that goes into films like Children of Men," which is flattering but exaggerated.) Matthew is obsessed with new ideas but wears argyle socks every day.read more ...read less ...
