I was born in Taichung, Taiwan and moved around in various parts of the world before finally settling down in Canada with my family in 1995. As a child, my ambition was to grow up to become a hydraulic excavator operator and work on construction sites. In 2003, I moved to the United States to pursue further education and life experiences. As a transplanted Canadian, I am fascinated by different regions of America and their unique cultures; I would love to see other parts of America and discover what they have to offer. Photojournalism, documentary, travel, and special events (i.e. weddings) are the most interesting subsets within photography for me. I also dabble a little bit in city landscape ("cityscape" - ?) as well as architecture. Currently, I am pursuing further training in photography and digital design at the Rhode Island School of Design.
