Michael McShane has served as a director and as our President and Chief Executive Officer since June 2002 and assumed the role of Chairman of the Board beginning in May 2004. Prior to joining Grant Prideco, Mr. McShane was Senior Vice President-Finance and Chief Financial Officer and director of BJ Services Company from 1998, and Vice President-Finance and Chief Financial Officer from 1990 to 1998. Mr. McShane joined BJ Services Company in 1987 from Reed Tool Company, where he was employed for seven years in various financial management positions.
