I am the proud father of Trent, the extraordinarily lucky husband of Jennifer Young, and the always-amazed stepfather of Corey and Laura Hubbard. I have been on the faculty of the University of South Carolina since 1990, the year I finished my Ph.D. at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I teach research methods and statistics courses to graduate students in the College of Education, where I learn more from my students than they do from me. I try to make the College a better place as an administrator and, when time permits, I try to answer a few of the numerous questions I have in my research area of nonparametric statistics.
