I received my PhD in Developmental and Molecular Biology from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in . Although I left the bench after getting my degree to do an internship in science policy at the National Academy of Sciences, followed by years of medical writing, I never lost my love for basic biomedical research, nor for writing about it.
