Tuan Nguyen is a multimedia journalist for DNAinfo New York (DNAinfo.com), one of the leading local news in the City. While working in New York, Tuan is also corresponding for Tuoi Tre Newspaper, the most-circulated print in Vietnam. In the past, he also have interned at the video unit of the New York Times. Over the past six years, Tuan Nguyen has been working as World News reporter for Tuoi Tre Newspaper (www.tuoitre.vn), the largest daily in Vietnam. He covers international news, including regions of Asia, US and Vietnam-US relations. Tuan Nguyen has also done some investigatory stories for the newspaper, exposing the rhino horn smuggling by Vietnamese embassy staff in South Africa, the abuse and maltreatment of Vietnamese female laborers in Jordan (), and the mistreatment of Vietnamese fishermen on foreign vessels in South Africa (). Tuan Nguyen moved to New York in August on a Fulbright scholarship to pursue a Master of Arts in multimedia journalism at the City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism.
